Embedded Systems?
We have experience in the software side of the embedded systems. Having started more than 18 years ago with embedded Linux, Micrium and other proprietary real time systems, we adopted recently the more open platforms – Arduino, Raspbery Pi and Beaglebone. Our projects included WIMAX wireless controllers, payment gateways, media controllers, audio drivers, game hardware controllers.
Arduino
Arduino is a wonderful platform for beginners in embedded systems/IoT world. Prototyping and testing is fast and inexpensive.
Raspberry PI
Raspberry PI is the next step up from Arduino, capable of running Linux versions and applications coded in Python/C/etc..
beaglebone
For power calculations and other media intensive tasks we prefer Beaglebone or similar platforms, some of them running real-time OSes.
