Out-of-box ideas

Sometimes is the most innocuous event that triggers a flood of changes, similar with a flip of butterfly wings. You are not expecting bulb-lighting ideas from mundane situations but surprises might arise if you reference point is different just for once.

One of those ideas came to me while I was playing with my daughter. She is a seven years old, pulled by the glitter of the new attractions – games, learning apps, YouTube even shadows of Facebook. I am using some of those but mostly for business purposes and as promotional material. For any small kid the spectrum of boredom is totally insupportable and until the day dreaming is kicking in we (parents) have to lean on outside stimulus.

As a child you are longing for mastering and ruling over something. Tacitly the whole world is downplaying your ideas and acts, so where can you rule as much as you want? In your imaginary world, you can rule and put your ideas in practice. There you will have drawings, role playing, imaginary friends and plots galore.

How can you take that whole world with you and allow other children take a peek or even contribute or (gasp !) change it as becoming theirs ?

There is not a definite idea how can you capture (for me) those burst of imagination, and as your kid is growing you will have tons of drawings, or hours of videos without an audience. The whole imaginary characters and plots and dialogues are for a small or no audience. As in any volume generation of anything there is statistically a small percentage of gems. Can we, as mature witnesses,  capture those questions, ideas, plays  and share them with others? It might be just a slippage of my mind (the idea), but sometimes, she and I have a lot of memorable fun.
